2020 Virtual Building Sustainability Conference and Awards

The highly anticipated Building Sustainability Conference & Awards is shifting to a virtual platform on September 2, 2020, with a compelling keynote address providing a first-hand account of growing up in public housing followed by Q&A and the 11th annual awards ceremony recognizing leaders in high-performance construction.

Conference attendees will also hear from industry experts at one of two educational sessions offered concurrently prior to the keynote address & awards ceremony. One panel will explore Virginia’s energy goals with the new Clean Economy Act, energy code updates, and utility rebate programs while the other panel details how to actually deliver high performance buildings through design, construction, and the integration of technology.

The virtual conference will continue to bring together cross-discipline industry experts to share knowledge, inspire discussion, and drive change in the protection of our living environments, both inside and out.
