Lecture: Services and Tools to Manage Your Home’s Energy

This session will cover energy efficient programs and tools for homeowners and builders alike. Dominion Virginia Power will discuss details and successes of its EnergyShare® energy assistance program, a system that offers bill pay assistance, free weatherization and energy-saving upgrades for veterans and anyone who faces financial hardships from unemployment or family crisis. Viridiant will discuss their impact on the environment and people’s lives, as well as new programs being developed to increase that impact. Viridiant will introduce new tools to help both homeowners and builders better understand their energy and water usage and how to make cost effective improvements. Solar, net zero, guaranteed energy bills, and energy benchmarking will be covered.
